1. Important Information — Who We Are
Purpose of this Privacy Policy
This privacy policy explains how Find a Job collects, uses, and protects your personal data when you interact with our website or use any of our services. That includes information you provide when registering an account, applying for a job, uploading a CV, or interacting with our platform in any way.
Our services are designed for adult professional users. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Please read this privacy policy carefully, along with any additional privacy notices we may provide on specific occasions. These notices work together to ensure complete transparency and do not override each other.
Controller & Processor
You remain the controller of your personal data. Find a Job acts as the processor, handling your data strictly in line with your instructions and solely for the purpose of delivering our services.
Your Responsibility to Keep Us Updated
To serve you properly and keep your profile up to date, it’s important that the personal data we hold is accurate and current. Please notify us of any changes during your relationship with Find a Job.
Links to Other Platforms
Our Website may contain links to external websites, tools, or third-party apps. Clicking on these may allow others to collect or share information about you. We do not control these third-party platforms and are not responsible for their privacy practices. Once you leave our Website, we recommend reviewing the privacy policies of any site you interact with.
2. The Data We Collect About You
We collect two core types of information when you engage with our Services: Personal Information and Aggregate Information.
Personal Information refers to any data that can be used to identify you directly or indirectly. This may include your name, location, email, phone number, login credentials, CV, work history, qualifications, languages spoken, photos, or any details tied to your user activity within the Find a Job platform. This is the information that identifies you as an individual.
Aggregate Information refers to generalized data about groups of users or services that cannot be traced back to any individual. For example, we might collect stats on how users interact with features, combine that with similar data from others, and use it to improve our Services or develop new ones. None of this data identifies you personally, and we may share it with trusted third parties for service enhancement or marketing purposes.
We do not collect any sensitive personal data, including religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual orientation, political opinions, union membership, or criminal records. Nor do we collect genetic or biometric data.
However, for the purpose of tracking diversity and inclusion within our user base, you may voluntarily submit your nationality or ethnicity. This is entirely optional, never publicly displayed, and only used internally. By submitting this data, you give explicit consent for us to process it under Article 9(2)(a) of GDPR. You can delete this data from your profile at any time, and it will be removed from our records immediately.
3. How We Collect Your Information
Information You Provide to Us
We collect data when you use the platform in any way, including:

- Messages & Contact Forms: If you contact us, send support requests, or submit business-related details, we may store that information to help respond or follow up appropriately.
- Authentication Data: If you sign in via Google, Apple, or email, we receive your basic profile information from these providers as authorised by you.
Information We Collect Automatically
Every time you use the platform, we collect basic technical data; like your IP address, browser type, time of visit, and how you use the site or app. This helps us improve performance, track issues, and refine your experience.
We may also analyze how users interact with certain parts of the platform, for internal stats and marketing effectiveness. This data is anonymized and used only to improve services.
If You Fail to Provide Required Information
Sometimes we need certain data in order to deliver a service. If you don’t provide it when asked, we might not be able to give you access or continue with the service. We’ll always let you know when that’s the case.

- Or you’ve given us clear consent.
We’ll always obtain your consent before sending direct marketing communications from third parties. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

Cookies help us improve the platform by analyzing which features are most used, personalizing content, and streamlining your navigation.

Cookies on external websites: When you click on links or ads that lead away from Find a Job, the third-party sites you visit may use their own cookies. These are not under our control and are governed by their own privacy policies.
Web Beacons
We use web beacons, also known as pixel tags or clear GIFs, to track anonymous usage patterns. These tiny graphic files signal when a page is viewed, collecting information like timestamp and page description. They help us measure campaign performance and gather general site traffic data. These beacons do not contain or link to any Personal Information.
Change of Purpose
We will only use your Personal Information for the purposes it was collected, unless we determine that a new purpose is compatible with the original. If you’d like to understand how a new purpose relates to the original, you’re welcome to contact us for more information. If we ever need to use your data for an unrelated purpose, you’ll be notified in advance along with a clear legal explanation.
Email and SMS Notifications
By creating a Find a Job profile and accepting this Privacy Policy, you agree to receive email and SMS notifications in specific situations. For example:
- Account verification and password resets
- Identity verification when logging in from a new device or location
- Application status updates
- Important platform or account changes
All such communications are designed to protect your access to our Services and ensure account security.
5. Disclosures of Your Personal Data
At Find a Job, we do not rent, sell, or share your personal data with unrelated third parties. We only disclose your information when strictly necessary, to be able to deliver the services requested, to comply with legal obligations, or to support internal operations under secure and professional conditions.
You can expect your personal data to be disclosed in the following limited circumstances:
Job Applications & Profile Sharing
When you apply for a position or express interest in a job opportunity through Find a Job, you agree that your personal data, including your candidate profile, uploaded documents, and CV, will be shared with the corresponding employer or recruiter. These employers may download or retain your information as part of their recruitment process. Once shared, Find a Job cannot guarantee control over how that data is handled by the receiving party.
Employer & Recruiter Accounts
Verified employer and recruiter accounts on Find a Job include companies, agencies, and intermediaries seeking staff through our platform. When your profile visibility is set to public, your information becomes searchable and viewable by these users.
Background Screening & Verification
If an employer initiates a background check or verification process, only the essential data, such as your name, email address, and candidate ID will be shared with authorized third-party screening providers. No checks are carried out without your prior permission.
Matching & Internal Analytics
We may use selected profile information (e.g., location, experience, qualifications, availability, languages, skills) to calculate a match score, helping employers find candidates who align with their specific needs. These scoring systems are fully internal and used only within the Find a Job ecosystem to enhance service quality and placement accuracy.
Platform Services & Secure Infrastructure
Find a Job uses secure, trusted service providers for hosting, authentication, customer support, analytics, and system maintenance. These partners include cloud platforms, authentication providers (such as Google and Apple Sign-in), CRM tools, and compliance tools. All are under strict contractual obligations to process your data securely and solely for the purposes required by Find a Job.
Business Change or Transfer
Should Find a Job undergo a merger, acquisition, or organizational restructure, your data may be securely transferred as part of our business assets. We will notify you before any changes that materially affect your data rights take place.
Legal Obligations & Safety
We may disclose your personal data when legally required to do so or when necessary to protect the rights, safety, or property of Find a Job, our clients, users, or the public. This includes complying with court orders, fraud prevention, or responding to regulatory requirements.
Strict Internal Use
All data is handled internally within Find a Job and our verified systems. We do not allow advertisers, external databases, or unaffiliated third parties to access your personal information under any circumstance.
6. Profile Visibility & Important Information
Visibility to Your Current Employer
If your current employer is registered on Find a Job or works with one of our partners, there is a chance they may come across your candidate profile. While Find a Job verifies employer accounts and maintains strict data systems, we cannot restrict which verified employers have access to view profiles within our database. Please consider this carefully if you are currently employed and exploring new opportunities discreetly.
Profile Visibility in Candidate Search
Our search functionality is a key feature that allows employers to proactively discover talent. If you opt-in to be visible in search, your profile may be seen by registered employer accounts, even if you haven’t directly applied for a specific role. This greatly improves your visibility and potential for placements.
You can opt in or out of appearing in employer searches at any time by adjusting your visibility settings within your profile dashboard.
Data Shared for Matching and Summarization
To enhance the recruitment process, Find a Job may generate an internal AI-powered summary of select profiles. These summaries help employers quickly assess a candidate’s suitability based on key fields such as availability, qualifications, experience, language skills, location, and preferences. Summaries are visible only to verified employers and contain a clear notice that they are AI-generated and may require verification against the full profile. No data is ever used to train AI models, and all processing remains strictly internal.
If you prefer not to have a summary generated, please contact our support team before applying for roles or enabling your profile visibility.
International Data Access
Find a Job is a worldwide platform. Your profile may be accessible to employers and partners globally, including jurisdictions where privacy protections may differ from those in your country of residence. Find a Job takes every reasonable measure to safeguard your data; however, once it has been downloaded or accessed by a verified employer, we cannot guarantee how it is used, stored, or retained by third parties. Only share your profile if you are comfortable with this level of visibility.
References
When listing referees, it is your responsibility to obtain their consent to be included in your profile. Their contact details will be stored in your account solely for reference-checking purposes and will never be shared outside of a recruitment context.
Profile Sharing and Public Links
You may choose to share your Find a Job profile through a unique public link. If this link is shared publicly or posted on an open platform, it may be indexed by search engines and become accessible through online searches. By sharing this link, you grant full access to the profile and all associated data to anyone who uses it. We advise against sharing the link if you wish to keep your profile private. Once shared, Find a Job cannot control who views, downloads, or retains your profile information.
Control of Your Data
As a registered user, you have full control over your personal data. You may log in at any time to update, correct, or delete information from your profile. Should you wish to remove your entire profile and all related data from our system, you may request complete deletion by contacting our support team.
7. International Transfers
Find a Job operates internationally. As such, your personal data may be transferred to and processed in countries outside of your country of residence. We ensure that any international transfer of personal data is handled with the highest level of care and protection, in line with globally recognized data protection standards.
